Life Support Equipment

Many homes have residents who require special electric powered equipment for life support. In the event of a storm, accident, disconnection, or planned outage this could be of considerable concern.

It is a physical impossibility for Wheatland to guarantee 100% service. Electric service outages can and do occur. In order to minimize any associated problems we ask you to do some advanced planning. First contact your local office and describe your situation to our personnel. If a medical condition is present, a letter from your attending physician or medical care provider may be needed. Second, if continuous electric power is needed you may want to consider the purchase of a stand by generator of adequate size to handle the electric load. Letting us know your specific needs allows Wheatland personnel to better serve you.
