Update: As of this morning we have approximately 3,400 members without power. Due to the current conditions we are having trouble isolating and restoring power. As the weather allows we will continue to work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

Wheatland Electric offices will be open as soon as employees are able to safely get to work.

Blizzard Warning: The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for most of the counties in the western part of our service territory. Heavy snow, strong winds and blowing snow can be expected.

We are currently experiencing outages across our service territory. Visibility has become an issue as our line crews try to identify, isolate and restore outages. In some areas there is no visibility and our crews cannot safely patrol lines to determine the cause of outages. We will continue to work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible as the weather allows.
